It’s nice to keep your own creations to yourself if you wish to do so. There are a lot of simmers who (very understandably) don’t share any of their sims or builds because they created them for themselves and their own game. Sharing every single thing from my game made it a lot less fun for me and just creating and playing the sims for myself has brought back a lot of the joy I used to feel before. I spend weeks building and perfecting homes for my personal sims after bulldozing them about 7 times (not exaggerating) and I do not wish for it to be completely recreated & reposted online within a few hours, which is also why I don’t share my current household’s floorplans anymore. The preset I am using right now is the only one out of four that I haven’t shared anyway. Since I am a content creator with a relatively large following (for simblr) I feel like a lot of my creations are already uploaded/public so that I now enjoy keeping certain things to myself, whether that is a sim I have grown very attached to, a build that took me literal weeks to create or a gshade preset. Hello! In my eyes the sims is a game that lets you escape into a world of your own and it’s okay to not want to share everything you create because a lot of it feels very personal to you. Note: Me answering this isn’t to justify myself/others but more so to explain to people that maybe genuinely don’t understand.
